Meeting called to order at 5:34 PM
1). On the Ice
Tryouts Dates – Good to go once we have confirmation from Barnstable, review email from Anthony post meeting.
South Shore Conference
Radley passed around a breakdown of costs between current league of SNEHC & South Shore Conference.
South Shore Conference – schedules referees, timekeepers, schedules ice. Based off of 33 games, incl playoffs, at all levels (Mites --> Bantams)
Home games – we will get 2 hours per week for home games for the first year. Also, have opportunities for meeting in the middle (example YD playing Quincy, may play in Plymouth.) Second year will have more home ice.
This only affects YD Dolphins, not CC Waves.
League Rep required from our program – monthly meetings to hep disseminate information.
Commitment to apply needs to be made by 1/20.
One bye week by Thanksgiving, one more by February, and one additional by March.
Opportunity to have full-ice Mites as well
Theda Swanson makes motion the board approves to submit application to SSC in order to allow the continuation of the exploratory process of joining their league. Lindsay Marceau seconds the motion. The motion passes unanimously.
2). Treasurer’s Reports
GROW Hockey brought in $7,800; overall tuition is over budget by $5,000.
Cranberry Tournament brought in around $90,000 but costs were about $40,000 below budget on this fundraising effort.
All checks issued for coaches’ reimbursement.
Discussion around capital fund and how to separate funds, have greater oversight and security of funds.
3). Tony Kent
New ice sharpening machine is installed
Dennis will be upstairs cleaning out the closet upstairs January 19; volunteers needed

At 7:46 PM, Theda Swanson made motion to close meeting, Alan Goode seconded the motion. The motion passes unanimously.
